Okay, legal inaccuracies aside, and this film has more of those than an episode of Law and Order, this was pretty good. Unhappy pair try to undermine each other and get their hands on the money -- falling in love along the way. Take two pretty people and their friends and send them to Las Vegas after they've both experienced life changing events, have them cross paths accidentally and then get together for alcohol fueled partying until, surprise! Well, this film doesn't stick quite to that phrase despite its title being the first half of it. And of course, as with all romantic comedies, there is a happy ending eventually, but in the meantime there is a lot of spiteful joke-playing and some great lines.
Not sure I would watch it twice, hence the 4 stars, but it has enough laughs to make it worth the view. They are then compelled, for legal reasons, to live life as a couple for a limited period of time. It was funny, a little unrealistic yet cute, great acting, perfect story line, and just a great comedy to watch again and again. Worth the price and my time, will be adding to my dvd collection. If you're tight on money, and even if you aren't, you'd probably find this one is a rental at best and not something that is crying for permanent addition to most video collections.

Despite me not being a big fan of either lead and knowing even less about them, I thought they were worth watching. I think the actors were actually drunk for some of the wild Vegas scenes and I do wish the crew had gotten shots of the real-life hangovers the next day.
Overall, it definitely exceeded my expectations and I enjoyed the majority of it with the exception of a few, forced sappy moments. All in all, it was fun. All the characters were well cast and quite funny, though I'd have liked to see more of Lake Bell as she was my favorite. Overall, the premise is amusing surely it's happened in real life at one of those Vegas wedding chapels , the jokes are never overdone and the film instead lets the situation bring out the funny as a good comedy should. Can they live with each other at all or will the habits of the single caveman permanently and totally offend the beauty that he's been paired with? I have now seen this at least 15 times!! It brings what happens in Vegas to New York. If you're looking at this film and considering purchasing it ask yourself just how much entertainment you expect from your purchases. .
