What has been your favorite thing about working with Monstercat so far? My top classic video games would have to be Earthbound, Zelda any of them and Super Metroid. I have a few collaborations that are in progress and a few collaborations that are finished, hoping I get to share them soon. With inspiration from some of music industries greatest legends like Hans Zimmer, Deadmau5 and Eric Prydz, Notaker specializes in creating an atmosphere around his productions to immerse the listener in the story of his sound, rather than just the track itself. Some of my biggest influences are Hans Zimmer, deadmau5, Eric Prydz and M83. The problem I had was when I pitched the sample up to the right key the sample quality diminished horribly. After one listen through it is definitely being added to our daily playlist in our office.

The young American producer named David Nothaker — better known as Notaker — certainly has a unique musical style, one that has been praised by fans and tastemakers alike in his relatively short professional career. It creates a wondrous layer of bliss and another layer of mystery right on top. Notaker has been rather busy and is quickly being noticed, as this track is being released with Armada Captivating. Lights strobe and you struggle to regain balance as lasers fly in a sudden combat mission.
